What’s New in Frisco: 5 Multifamily Communities to Watch

Frisco is on the rise and so is its multifamily scene! From brand new openings to exciting projects still in the pipeline, the city is seeing a wave of residential growth. Whether you're an investor, renter, or just keeping tabs on what’s next, here are five multifamily communities to watch!

Lexington Ranch

The project: Lexington Ranch is a multifamily community in North Frisco that offers both apartments and townhomes. Apartment units are offered in studios or one-three bedrooms. Amenities include a pool, a club house, gym and more.

Update: Units at Lexington Ranch became available in March.

IN THE WORKS

Champions Frisco

The project: Champions Frisco is a mixed-use development on the southwest corner of Mahard Parkway and University Drive that will include multifamily units, as well as office and retail space. There will be 700 urban living units and 74 townhomes.

Update: Frisco Planning and Zoning Commission approved plans for the development at its meeting June 24. According to city officials, the development will produce half of the traffic expected for what was previously planned on the site, a project called Lesso Mall.

North Fields

The project: North Fields is an apartment community that is part of the broader Fields development that is expected to have as many as 14,000 homes and apartments.

Update: Frisco Planning and Zoning Commission approved plans for 363 urban living units and one parking garage at its June 24 meeting. All of this will sit on about 6.3 acres. of land.

COMING SOON

The Beacon

The project: The Beacon is an 18-unit apartment building in downtown. Some of the first residents will call the building home in August.

Update: Units are being preleased in the community and interested residents can schedule a hard-hat tour of the property. One- and two-bedroom units are available in the apartment community.

The Links on PGA Parkway

The project: The Links on PGA Parkway is an apartment community that will one day be home to about 2,000 families in the city. When complete, the development will include more than 1,300 units. There are 690 units at the complex now.

Update: Developers broke ground on the final phases of the project in May. These last two phases will bring an additional 620 units and 815 underground parking spaces to the complex.
